CARING FOR METAL DICE
The weight and shape of metal dice means you should take some extra care when rolling and storing these tiny treasures. Metal dice are quite robust, but not indestructible. The finish is the part most likely to be damaged, and the following recommendations are to preserve the original look and feel of your new dice.

When rolling, it's best to roll on a surface other than your grandmothers antique dining table. A soft Dice Tray is best to preserve the look of the finish. A few sheets of paper, a notebook, or a piece of cloth or felt will also protect your playing surface and the dice from unnecessary dings and scratches.

When storing your dice, it's best to keep metal dice separated from each other, and especially from polymer dice which can break when bumping into metal dice over time. When stored loose, metal dice can bump into each other and the finish will be damaged. They'll still work perfectly fine, but the finish will deteriorate with excessive bumping into each other.
